Yesterday, I got to do an afternoon session with First Gear at The Bend Motorsport Park.

I’ve just turned 12, which means I’m finally old enough to start getting some early learning and experience behind the wheel of a car.

I skipped a gokart race this weekend to do this session, but it was 100% worth it. Im falling in love with the sport more than just 'going fast around a track', and I'm loving getting to know the different types of cars and racing opportunities out there.

I learnt so much during the session and got to drive laps in both an Excel and a GR86, which was seriously cool.

BEST DAY EVER! SO MUCH FUN!

Massive thanks to my Dad and my Coach for pushing me in the right direction, and also First Gear for the opportunity and for helping me take another step forward in my motorsport journey.

A few weeks ago, I raced Round 2 of the in Hamilton, Victoria. I showed up with some pretty big goals of getting into the top 10 and promised myself to push outside of my comfort zone.

Took me a little bit to get used to the new track, but once I got my head around it, I loved the fast-paced flow. Great competition on track, great race team and a great weekend overall seeing me finish Finals in P8.
