When you see something you put your heart and soul into organising last minute become viral and shared with the world it truly warms the soul # # # this wasnt for Which-Way, this was for Grandad Bertie, This was for family, our sons family, an early morning and extreemly funny organised caos with a borrowed Bus from Aspire Cairns Community Limited a 430am wake up, A u turn for important forgotten items and some maccas on the way home , Watching how these boys hearts filled with pride and were so proud of Djarraway and being able to welcome him home. The Cairns airport were absolutely amazing and supportive of such a last minute welcoming and the community was in awe xx There were tears and laughter and loads of hugs # #

With FNQ Nature Quest supporting our NAIDOC Celebration at Trinity Beach Skate park we were together able to supply the community with a lit up park, additional portaloo, performers fees, an amazing stage and Sound Tech by Rolling Stage Event Hire and more !!!!! Thankyou for the collaboration and passion to bring this to life for the community !

A huge thank you to Rotary Cairns Northern Beaches for their kind sponsorship of our Trinity Beach Skate Park NAIDOC event last weekend.

The event had a brilliant turnout, and their generous support allowed us to include an additional two dance groups and performances for the community to enjoy, as well as contribute towards our Elders Station, providing free tea and coffee throughout the event.

Without the support of Rotary Cairns Northern Beaches and everyone involved, events like this would not be possible. We are incredibly grateful to every sponsor, performer, volunteer, vendor and community member who helped make the day so special.

At Which-Way Cultural & Community Care, we would love to see a precinct that is accessible, culturally safe, family-friendly and designed to support young people, community organisations, local performers and grassroots events.

We encourage our community, families, young people and local organisations to complete the survey and have their say before 9 August.

Our voices matter in planning spaces that truly reflect and serve our whole community.

Major Events Precinct Masterplan and Project Validation Report A place-based planning and development project that seeks to demonstrate how Cairns can strengthen its brand as a destination for sport and entertainment.
