On Thursday the 25th June RMF attended a BERT & CIP sponsored site visit to an Amazon warehouse project at North Maclean. Thank you to CFMEU delegate, Sam, and building company, Qanstruct for this great opportunity to reach out to about 40 workers and open up a conversation about prostate cancer.

Today RMF attended a BERT & CIP sponsored site visit at the East Brisbane Social Housing project. There were about 50 workers present and some great conversations were had. It is heartening to notice that an increasing number of men are becoming aware of what a PSA blood test is and are actually having one regularly, and even more importantly, talking about prostate cancer with their mates. It is vital to break down the stigma and misconceptions about this disease so more men survive. Missed getting a photo, but the proposed finished building looks impressive. Thank you to CFMEU delegate, Alick and builder, Hutchinsons for the opportunity this morning.

RMF had a productive morning with workers at the Ormeau Rail Project on Friday the 12th June. There were about 60 men and women present and we thank construction company, Adco and CFMEU delegate, Cameron for the support and opportunity to speak about such an important topic and BERT & CIP for sponsoring this visit.
Prostate cancer takes the lives of far too many Australian men but early detection gives an almost 98% chance of survival. Have that regular PSA blood test men!
