Custom Spec Repairs

Here are just a couple of repairs performed this week.

We completed a laser weld repair on a pair of frames that had failed at the original weld point from the manufacturer.

Then the usual spring hinge repair.

And lastly a laser weld replacing a broken part on a frame temple/trim.

Another onsite spring hinge repair was expertly completed by our technician today.

Breakage is common in this eye-wire design, typically due to inadequate manufacturing. When breaks occur, frames become loose-fitting and vision may be compromised. Laser welding and solder reinforcement resolve the issue. A shiny black paint finish restores the frames to their original condition.
