Every ~6 months, we fill our freezer with an animal raised right here on the farm.

One of the biggest benefits of on-farm processing (when it’s for our own family) is full transparency - and full respect for the whole animal.

It also means our friend Luigi from The Patch can access the entire animal for biodynamic preparations, supporting the bigger picture: healthy soils, healthy ecosystems, and honest food from the ground up.

We’re proud to do this work with care, and we’ll always keep the conversation going about what’s possible (and what legislation currently prevents) when it comes to truly local, ethical meat.
