Headset Heroes: Afterschool Virtual Reality Events Step into the world of virtual reality with Headset Heroes: a three-week, hands-on workshop series hosted by Reality Bytes Media.
We just wrapped up two full-day Headset Heroes VR workshops with the City of Norwood Payneham and St Peters, and wow, the students absolutely smashed it! ๐ฎ
Guided by Cameron Coggins, participants dived into Virtual Reality, 3D modelling, and coding, designing and building their own VR experiences. They even created SDG-aligned, sustainable solutions as interactive VR simulations.
A huge thank you to the team at the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters for making this possible. We canโt wait for the next one! ๐

What an incredible weekend at Science Alive!
We had over 500 people jump into VR and explore a futuristic world where you learn just how important bees are to our ecosystem ๐๐
Kids, families, and teachers all got to experience what itโs like to walk through fields of digital flowers, watch pollinators at work, and discover the science behind sustainability through immersive virtual reality ๐ฅฝโจ
One parent-teacher told us:
โThey can actually form empathy for things we couldnโt possibly take them on an excursion forโฆ but they can have that genuine emotional connection through VR. Itโs absolutely incredible.โ
We couldnโt agree more. This is what immersive education is all about: making science feel real, fun, and unforgettable!
Want to bring this to your school or event? Get in touch! Weโd love to make it happen! Head to https://realitybytesmedia.com

Back in March, we teamed up with Welcome All Families to run a creative VR workshop for their neurodivergent kids, and it was such a special day!
The kids were incredibly engaged and full of creativity, building their own VR experiences and getting to step inside them using immersive tech. Watching their ideas come to life gave them a real sense of pride and accomplishment.
"They can take what they've learned home and make future pathways that school hasn't given them."
Weโre so excited to be running another workshop with Welcome All Families this September!
Check out the video below to hear Paula Kirk-Clarke reflect on the day and share just how meaningful this experience was for the families involved. ๐ City of Marion
