It’s a form of silent rejection that signals to the other person, „What’s important to you is irrelevant to me“ and the worst part is, you don’t even realise it.

But your subconscious registers it, and over time, you begin to diminish yourself, stop mentioning your successes, and stop celebrating yourself.

And your brain learns that your success no longer has a place in this relationship.

So, pay close attention to who’s listening while you’re talking about something you’re proud of.

Look very closely at who’s happy for you, who asks questions, and who doesnt change the subject.

Because the people who change the subject while you’re talking about your successes definitely don’t belong in your inner circle.
