Short read only and a very good one! Laging nangyayari to esp. sa ting mga Pinoys. And the funny thing is we "go with the trend", hnd nadadala.....isn't it easier to allot a small amount regularly in exchange for a bigger one sa biglaang need VS. taking the chance and hoping na walang mangyayaring masama sa'yo or sa family member? Then it happens and you're caught off guard with NO IMMEDIATE INSTANT HUGE CASH.....Anong gagawin mo??
May paraan, talk to a financial advisor, usap tau 🙂
This is not to mock the person who posted this from years back. Rather, this is just to show the reality of how most Filipino families end up when they’re caught off guard on the ridiculous cost of hospitalization, especially if it’s due to a critical illness.
The product of YEARS of hard work will need to be liquidated to support only few days or weeks of treatment. This has happened to a lot of Filipinos already, and will continue to happen, sadly.
This is the very reason why we, in the insurance industry, always encourage everyone to get themselves, on top of their existing Philhealth and probably an employer-subsidized HMO, an adequate Critical Illness Insurance ahead of time, while they’re still insurable — meaning healthy. Or an adequate coverage for it if they already have one.
It’s an easy solution for a problem that hasn’t come yet.

It is a FACT and a REALITY..... whereas, a personal life insurance goes with you wherever you are🙂
PM me, usap tayo
Life insurance at work is a nice benefit, but it may not be enough to protect your family. If it isn’t enough to cover the mortgage, childcare, medical expenses and ongoing bills, you may need an individual policy to make sure your loved ones have sufficient coverage.

O para po sa mga nagsasabing "bata at malakas pa ko", don't wait until it's too late...
For those nmm who says "may insurance, hmo at philhealth na ko from my current work", kulang yan and pano kng d ka na connected sa work mo??
Kindly read 🙂....
Hindi "marketing tactic" ung sinasabi ng insurance advisors that not everyone is insurable.
We usually take it for granted, iniisip natin "next time na, di pa priority" until it's too late.
Akala natin dahil bata pa tayo, maaapprove agad tayo when we apply so pinagpapaliban natin.
Don't wait until it's too late.
I'm only 26. I already have an existing policy with critical illness benefits, but I'm applying for a 2nd one kasi gusto kong dagdagan. But because of my diagnosed health condition, na I didn't think would have an effect on my insurability, may chance na di na ko makakuha ng additional policy.
I'm still hoping my 2nd application gets approved though. 🤞
But please, take it seriously when we say.. Apply for an insurance policy while you're still healthy. Para di na kayo mahassle to undergo full medical exam when you apply, and di kayo maging alanganin on getting approved. 🙏
My recommended amount of coverage for critical illness is 2 million pesos dapat. Maximum allowable is 10 million. Dahil seriously, mahal magka-critical illness sa Pilipinas.
Please, take it seriously. This is the reason why I joined this industry - when I was in the healthtech startup industry, kitang kita ko kasi yung effect of finances sa health outcomes of critical illness cases. A lot of people don't know na may critical illness insurance plans na pwedeng iavail aside from PhilHealth and HMO. Kasi honestly, kulang talaga pag yang dalawa lang.
Yung parents ko, I got them critical illness insurance policies when they were 49 years old. Kasi if ever something happens to them (wag naman sana), I do not want to feel helpless. I want to make sure to get the best care possible for them in case that happens (pero I always pray pa rin na wag sila, please). When I processed their application, hindi sila nirequire to undergo medical exam, approved agad ung policies nila! Tapos ako eto, required. 😅😓
This is my advocacy and I mean it when I say, get insured ASAP while you're healthy AND make sure you have ENOUGH CRITICAL ILLNESS BENEFITS. And make sure your immediate family members get protected too. 🙏
