رسانه‌های داخلی پاکستان گزارش داده‌اند که در پی تیراندازی عناصر گروه طالبان از مناطق مرزی افغانستان، سه عضو یک خانواده شامل یک زن و دو کودک در ایالت خیبرپختونخوای پاکستان جان خود را از دست داده‌اند.

به گزارش روزنامه «اکسپرس تریبون»، این حادثه روز چهارشنبه، ۲۶ حمل، در روستای مرزی «ملک شاهین» واقع در منطقه «کت‌کوت» از توابع باجور رخ داده است.

در این تیراندازی، سه غیرنظامی کشته و سه تن دیگر که همگی از اعضای یک خانواده بودند، زخمی شده‌اند. مجروحان به بیمارستان منتقل شده‌اند.

بر اساس این گزارش، گروه طالبان در روزهای اخیر قصد داشته‌اند گروهی از عناصر موسوم به «خوارج» را به داخل خاک پاکستان نفوذ دهند که این تلاش با واکنش به‌موقع ارتش پاکستان ناکام مانده است.

این رسانه پاکستانی ادعا کرده که طالبان پس از این ناکامی، «جمعیت غیرنظامیان پاکستان در کت‌کوت را هدف قرار دادند.»
