Application – 29th Batch Online English Writing Course:
CBA is launching 29th batch of English Writing Course for professionals and students with purpose to improve their English Writing skills. This course is designed to teach students English writing skills. The course is both theoretical and practical which will prove helpful to give students the confidence in sharing their thoughts and learn to organize them along the way. The course covers a review on certain grammatical structures, paragraph types, email writing and journal writing techniques.
Note: Essay writing is also added to this course.
Course Outline
Week-1: Tenses, Sentence Types (Simple Sentence, Compound Sentence, Complex Sentence and Compound-Complex Sentence) and Subject-Verb Agreement.
Week-2: Conjunction Types (Subordinating Conjunctions, Paired Conjunctions, and Coordinating Conjunctions), Punctuation and Capitalization Rules.
Week-3: Intro to Email Writing (Formal and Informal), Email etiquette (Using CC&BCC)
Week-4: Brainstorming and Outlining Skills for Paragraphs, Intro. to Paragraph Structure (Topic Sentence, Supporting Details, and Concluding Sentence).
Week-5: Intro to Descriptive and Narrative Paragraphs.
Week-6: Intro to Expository and Persuasive Paragraphs.
Week-7: Figurative Language (Metaphors, Similes, Hyperbole, and
Personification), Transition Signals and linking words.
Week-8: Introduction to Essay Structure (Introduction, Body Paragraphs, Conclusion).
Week-9: Introduction and the elements of Opinion Essay.
Week-10: Introduction to the Descriptive Essay and a Wrap-Up of the Ten Weeks' Topics

Duration: 2.5 Months (Total 10 Weeks)

Criteria: Students with basic level of English
