At the founding stages business owners tend to do the email marketing themselves. They do as much as they can until it becomes difficult to find the time for it, and then they either outsource it or build an in-house team. But will that change in this new era of AI disruption?

The BIG PROMISE of AI tech companies is that they're building the type of tools that will allow you to be a one person billion dollar company. I think that's all hype. Or greatly exaggerated. Because you're a business owner that needs to delegate tasks. Being a one person billion dollar company means you're putting a bunch of work back on your plate, and that's going backwards.

My advise to you is to keep the team you've built. Or hire qualified email marketers to take on the task. Let them use the LLMs and Gen AI tools in their workflows for efficiency gains. And remember that you don't have a content quantity problem. You have a personalization problem. Solve that in 2026 and beyond.
