This is a beautiful piece by Rizwan Beyg a friend, an advisor and a dear brother. His wisdom never ceases to amaze me, and his thoughts resonate.
I have no desire to fit in .....
To walk with the social set looking for affirmation from people I barely know ...
No desire be part of the In crowd .
No desire to maintain friendships with people just because they are "bachpan ke dost ".
I want to nuture friendships with people with whom I have a future not just a past.
No desire to fill my inner silence with small talk and meaningless chatter with people who really don't know me or care to discover who I am .
No desire to ride into battle everyday to fight for people or causes that have no meaning or contribute to better my life.
To constantly be aware of my growth ....nurturing within myself kindness,generosity, compassion, patience and most importantly tolerance for others views and opinions even though I may not agree with them .
To learn to listen rather than speak non stop.
To learn to respect , regard and learn from others .
I may fail in some or ALL of what I hope to achieve.
I am trying ...

It is a wonderful to be celebrating the timeless spirit of Yoga, today, 4500 years later. Wishing everyone on this ‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍Day. The Pashupati Seal, is a testament to Yoga's rich legacy. Discovered in the ancient ruins of Mohenjo-Daro, this seal, over 4,500 years old portrays a figure seated in a meditative, yet complex Yoga pose that radiates tranquility and mastery over the self. Surrounding the figure are animals is thought to represent Lord Shiva., the ultimate ascetic, the greatest of Yogis. As he sits enigmatically, he is a gentle reminder on how Yoga has been a part of our human culture, of Indian culture. Today, it transcends time, cultures, geographies to guide us all towards inner peace and outward harmony and health.
