My beautiful Lanka, known for its lush greenery, romantic landscapes, golden beaches, balmy tropical climate, is an island nothing short of magnificent.
“Nil Manel” the Blue Water Lily botanically known as “Nympheae Stellata” is the national flower of My country!!

Here I’m portraying a lotus that’s nearest to the “Nil Manel” which is a symbol of purity as it rises from the mud without stains.
As it returns to the murky water at the golden hour and blooms again at dawn, a lotus also symbolises strength, resilience and rebirth.
Likewise, though my beautiful island is right now facing its worst economic and political crisis, where the livelihood of people is severely affected, we will together overcome this dark period out of the mud of struggles, pain, fear, corruption and confusion.

The struggle is real and we need a solution not just for you and me but for each and all of us.

There’s still hope and together we will rebuild our nation!!

A child's smile is so powerful that it can make you forget all your troubles in the world !!!

This year I have been fortunate enough to experience snow for the first time in my life and I was also lucky enough to capture this pic on our way back from snow capped mountains, in imperfect circumstances, when we made a stop at a service station !!!
Capturing food on snow was a dream come true !!!

The model was a scrumptious pistachio and almond cake !!!
